One day, before the battles begin, the doors open. The athletes flying in for Cali-Battles 8 — champions from across the world — spend it with you rather than behind the barrier.
4 workshops, led by the athletes themselves. Then the part you actually remember: meeting them, training beside them, asking the questions, taking the photos.

This is the only
day you get
Access on the competition days is closed this year. The floor, the warm-up area and the athletes' side of the barrier are for competitors, judges and crew — no exceptions, and no guests brought through on the day.
So if you want to actually meet the athletes competing at Cali-Battles 8 — train under them, talk to them, get your photos — the Open Day is where it happens. Miss it and you watch Cali-Battles 8 from the crowd.
Places are limited
The venue holds what it holds, and the workshops only work in small groups. Places go in the order applications are confirmed, and a place is confirmed when the fee arrives — not when the form is sent.

What you get
- 01 The workshops
- Four sessions, each led by an athlete competing at the championship. Technique broken down by the people who actually do it.
- 02 Train with them
- Open floor between sessions. Same bars, same rings, same room — the athletes train alongside you rather than watching.
- 03 Ask anything
- Programming, injuries, nutrition, how they got from where you are to where they are. No stage, no time slot.
- 04 Photos with the athletes
- Time set aside for it, so nobody has to chase anyone. The one point in the edition where this is possible at all.
Bring what you train in and a water bottle. Every level is welcome — the workshops are run so a first-year athlete and a competitor get something out of the same hour.
